This is my newest tattoo based off of the song “Rejoice” by Andrew Jackson Jihad. I’ve wanted this tattoo since February, when I saw them at the Troubadour and had one of the best nights of my life. I got it to remind myself that life is a struggle, and it will fuck with you no matter what. There’s no stopping that. But you always have to keep in mind that as long as you are trying your best to make your life great in what ever way you want, than nothing else matters. I’ve been through a lot, at least in my opinion I think I have, but I have never been stopped. I’ve kept going because of the people I surround myself with, and in all honesty, the music I listen to. I’ve been listening to AJJ for over a year now, and they mean the world to me. I’ve met them several times, and every time I see them I feel like I’m with my extended family. Now, they’ll be a piece of me forever. I am very pleased with how this tattoo turned out. Sure, it has it’s flaws, but that’s sort of why I got the tattoo. I have flaws, and I’ll be proud of them till I die.

Last night my brother walked in on me while I was with another guy. We were both really drunk and somehow ended up in my room together. As things were getting really “serious”, my brother walked in my room. I guess I should clarify something; I’ve never actually told my brother (or family) about my sexuality before.

I haven’t seen him since. He should be home soon, and I really don’t know how this is going to go down.

I don’t regret anything, but I just really really wish things didn’t end up the way that they did.

Now I’m sort of hungover, I have hickies all over my neck (which I had to go to work with), and I really don’t want to have any sort of conversation with my brother.

Edit: In an odd turn of events, my brother believes that I was with one of the girls that I had over. I sort of dodged a bullet with this one, even if it would have been a good (although slightly unfortunate) way for me to come out to him.

My mom didn’t cash the check that I gave her for my car insurance (that was suppose to come out of my check that I got three weeks ago) until yesterday; so with the money I got last Friday from my newest check, I had to take out both that check amount and my car payment; which leaves me broke as hell.

50. A book you really, really, really don’t want to see made into a film.: Unfortunately, it was already made into a movie, but my choice would have to The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Also, I would have to say The Catcher in the Rye as well, even thought it is almost guaranteed that it would never be made into a movie.
